About this event
Join Us for Our Annual Meeting--A Look Back and a Look Ahead
The League of Women Voters of Coastal Georgia annual meeting will be on Tuesday, May 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Learning Center at Senior Citizens, Inc., 3025 Bull Street (parking and entrance on Jasper Street). You will meet the nominees for our new board, both the executive officers and the fuller working board. (See below.)
Members will vote on the executive officers and the budget, which has been shared via email. There are no changes to the bylaws.
For those who are not yet members, now is the perfect time to join! We welcome your participation in choosing our new board members. Visit our website to join or renew today.
Our outgoing president, Nina Altschiller, will highlight our considerable accomplishments over the last two years.
Our incoming president, Chassidy Malloy, once confirmed, will outline her vision for 2023-2025. This year, we gear up for municipal elections; next year, we get out the vote for national office.
The League and our new slate of leadership cannot do this without engaged members. Time and again, you have shown that you want to do the work of empowering voters and defending democracy.
Join us on May 23 to learn how you can be part of making that happen.
Admission is free and this event is open to the public. We do ask that you RSVP in advance by clicking the blue "Register Now" button above.
You do not need to be a current member of LWVCGA to attend. Please disregard the request to login on the registration page.
